Online University Reviews Itt Technical Institute Online

In the past several years, ITT Technical Institute has risen to the top of the technical education community with its devotion to higher quality academics. Although ITT offers over eighty-five campuses nationwide, their online degree programs are extremely convenient and assured to give you the skills and training that you need to advance your technical career.

ITT Tech offers its students a variety of online degree programs under numerous different “schools.” ITT’s School of Information Technology offers Associate degrees in Information Systems Administration, and Bachelor’s degrees in Information Systems security. The School of Business offers Associate degrees in both Business Accounting Technology and Business Administration. Bachelor’s degrees are awarded under the School of Business with concentrations in Technical Project Management, Business Accounting Technology, and Business Administration (with specializations in Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Project Management). ITT also offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program under the School of Business. For students interested in Criminal Justice, ITT’s School of Criminal Justice offers Associate and Bachelor Degrees in Criminal Justice. Also, ITT’s School of Drafting and Design has recently begun to offer a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.

Students, particularly students who are also working hard to balance full time jobs with their studies, will find that ITT’s convenient class schedules will help them achieve their degrees with less difficulty than traditional four-year colleges. Also, because the degree programs at ITT are offered year-round, students can shorten the amount of time that they spend studying, allowing them to enter the work place faster.

All ITT-Tech campuses are licensed by the states in which they are located, and are either accredited or working towards achieving accreditation by organizations recognized by the United States Department of Education. However, ITT also offers its students a great deal of career preparation with their intensive Career Services programs. Students will be assisted in finding jobs with notifications of entry-level job openings and interview opportunities in their respective fields of study.

For most of the degree programs at ITT-tech, admissions requirements include a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) and an interview with an admissions counselor at the school’s registrar. However, students applying to ITT’s Construction Management, Information Systems Security, or Technical Project Management degree programs must also hold at least 60 credit hours for college level courses with a grade point average of 2.0. Students applying to ITT’s graduate degree programs must possess a bachelor’s degree by an accredited United States institution and provide an official transcript from their undergraduate institution with proof of degree.
