Coventry University is located in the city of Coventry, which is in the centre of England, in an area known as the West Midlands. Coventry is known for its cathedral and is a buy multi cultural city which offers places of interest, a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, clubs, shops, leisure and social facilities.

Coventry University is a research and teaching resource which offers four faculties, Art and Design, Health and Life Sciences. Engineering and Computing and Business. The university caters for full and part time students offering graduate and post graduate courses ranging from Accountancy to Youth Work.


The university campus is a purpose built resource which is located in thirty three acres of land in centre of the city. The campus provides facilities to meet all the student’s needs including accommodation, learning and study areas, student’s union, games room and enclosed summer garden.

The newly opened venue known as The Hub offers a music area, study areas, eating outlets, and shops.

The award winning library has over one thousand study areas, four hundred computer stations and offers a wide range of books and other publications to assist the student in their learning. The library also provides a book shop and café.

The sports and fitness centre provides two halls for sports such as cricket, football, table tennis, badminton and basketball and there is also a dance studio available. Outdoor sports facilities are provided at a different venue.

Student’s Union

The students union is an independent resource run by students which offers support and advice in all areas of university life. The student’s union also provide a bar and club for students and organises over sixty social and sports clubs.


The university has over four thousand catering and self catering rooms available for students.

Catered accommodation is located two halls of residence and offers a furnished study/bedroom and shared bathroom facilities. Staff and security are available to ensure that students are able to manage and feel safe.

Self Catered accommodation is available in halls, flats and houses which provide a furnished study/bedroom and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Prices vary and are dependant upon the type of accommodation.
