Teesside University Campus is located in the town of Middlesbrough in the county of Yorkshire in north east England. This large town offers a busy shopping area, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, theatre, clubs, sports amenities, museums, art gallery’s and a thriving nightlife, particularly during the university term time.
The university houses over twenty nine thousand students and provides graduate and post graduate, full and part time courses. The university has six schools, arts and media, computing, health and social care, science and engineering, sciences and law and business with courses ranging from accounting to web design.
Middlesbrough and Darlington Campus
Based mainly in Middlesbrough the university’s teaching and study facilities are extensive and imaginative, including a crime scene house, replica police station, forensic investigation lab, evidence room, replica court, sports science lab, evidence lab, newsroom, computing sites, library and IT facilities Also located on the campus are sports facilities, bars, fitness centre and cafes.
The newly opened facility in Darlington accommodates over one thousand part time students and provides teaching facilities, conference rooms and a bar.
The university has seven hundred and twenty four self catered rooms mainly for first year undergraduate students. The accommodation is situated near to teaching resources and is in the form of halls of residence, flats and houses. The student is provided with one study/bedroom, communal kitchen, dining area, bathroom and laundry facilities. All accommodation has residence wardens. Accommodation for students with disabilities is available.

The student’s union is an independent organisation run by elected students. The students union provides support for students in all areas of university life and a wide range of social and leisure resources.

The Activity Centre organises over forty clubs and twenty societies and is involved with charity work.
The Tease is a monthly magazine produced by students.
