The city of Hull is located in the East Riding area in the county of Yorkshire, England. Once a major sea port Hull sits on the River Hull and Humber estuary and is within easy reach of the countryside. The multicultural city provides a wide range of facilities including shops, restaurants. bars, clubs, theatres, cinemas, museum, parks and sports amenities

Hull University has two campuses, one located within two miles of the city and the other in the nearby seaside resort of Scarborough. The university offers part and full time graduate and undergraduate courses ranging from aquatic zoology to sports rehabilitation.                  .

Accommodation

Student accommodation is located on both campuses and ranges from Halls of Residence to student houses split into flats. The halls of residence provide single rooms with shared common rooms, kitchen, dining areas, laundry, social areas, bathrooms and computer facilities.  An evening meal and cleaning services of shared areas are provided for all students who reside in the halls. There are also a range of social events such as football, DVD screenings, trips and quiz nights.

Student Houses

The student houses are split into flats providing ensuite bedrooms, laundry facilities, shared kitchen/dining area and bathrooms. Student houses are self catering.

Support Services

The university provides a number of services to support students. The Student Support Service offers counselling, pastoral care, financial advice, learning support and services relating to students with disabilities. The Study and Advice Centre helps students in all areas relating to writing, numerous and study. The Administration Service covers areas such as registration, tax, fees, examinations and results.

Students Union

The students union play an important role in university life offering support and advice and a wide range of social facilities such as a club, bars, bookshop, sport clubs and student societies.

Scarborough Campus.

Situated near to the sea in the coastal resort of Scarborough the campus houses over eighteen hundred students. The university campus provides a wide range of disciplines, arts, humanities, education, business and science and technology. The campus provides teaching facilities, study areas, dinning hall, cafe, library, recording studio, theatre workshop, science labs and performance studio.

There is a regular bus service to and from Hull.

Hull Campus

Located in the village of Cottingham but within easy reach of the city centre Hull campus sits in countryside near to the Humber estuary. The campus is home to students studying medicine, business, social science, health and social care. The campus provides teaching and study areas, library, supermarket, cafes, restaurant, bars and sports facilities.
