Sex Education Kids School Teenage Pregnancy Mojo Empower Knowledge Parents Rap Music Sexual Acts – Yes

“Knee thigh up and down, let me see you touch the ground”, was what my 6 year old son was singing. Yes, these are lyrics to a song. Have you noticed how raunchy everything there days are? Songs are way beyond suggestive.

Dress sense in this day and age for the most part is dictated by the “in” celebrity.  We’ve got Britney spears and Paris Hilton doing drugs, getting sloshed out of their minds and not wearing underwear. There goes mom’s advice to always wear your best underwear when you leave the house! There are a lot more celebrities that I can mention however these two have gained notoriety.

I mentioned dress as the clothing is so provocative. Are you aware that unlike back in the day it is now the fashionable for your underwear stick out your pants? I find that we are paying more for less material when shopping.

There are lyrics that describe how to perform any number of sexual acts. The songs are out there, and Kids are listening to it. The World Wide Web brings even more complication to the subject. Some parents may argue that sex education at school will result in the kids being more promiscuous.

To this I would like to say,  ” Wake Up, You are  delusional!”

We were all kids and it is a scientific fact that a teenagers brain functions differently and their ability to rationalize is not fully developed yet. The general belief among the civilized world is that knowledge is power. Why wouldn’t a parent want their kid not to have this power? The 21st century catch phrase seems to be, empower your self and so forth so why wouldn’t a parent want this? It saves you the embarrassment of going into the in-depth stuff with the school explaining the “intricate” details to your child. Children are becoming sexually promiscuous at a younger age.

As to whether or not sex education should be taught in school is not the appropriate question that needs to be asked. The question that rather needs to be evaluated is, do you want your kids to learn about sex from some pervert on the internet, or   rap artist referring to your kids a “ho or bitch”, or rather have them be taught about sex including the diseases in a controlled environment.  One is able to make better decisions equipped with the correct knowledge.
